  • Managed the ML team to build end-end ML pipelines under severe budget constraints in less than 6 months for each deliverable.
  • Collaborated with the team to ideate models for Information retrieval in the legal space, achieving a SOTA F1 - score of 0.79.
  • Developed different models with accuracy - latency tradeoff for ad-hoc Entity Linking, the best of which is accurate in the range of 80% - 95% for various models.
  • Trained SMEs on data gathering to produce a gold standard dataset which helped improve the data quality, modeling approaches, and enhanced overall prediction accuracy by more than 40%.

  • Designed and implemented the highly configurable and flexible vendor management workflow platform from scratch as part of a small team, which is the core product of Certa served to multiple S&P 500 clients.
  • Authored many USP features like notification system and configurable workflow system as part of the early team, which formed the new platform 5x faster than the old platform.
  • Defined coding and testing guidelines with comprehensive onboarding documentation for new engineers and reduced new engineer onboarding time to less than 1 week.

  • Helped build growth platform to serve as primary communication between gig workers and businesses, cutting down the turnaround time by a factor of 2.

Software Developer | Chumbak | Dec 2014 – July 2017

  • Built the core e-commerce backend platform at chumbak.com from scratch as part of a founding team and scaled it to serve 10x more traffic than the legacy platform
  • Engineered the core e-commerce features which increased the sales by 50%, click ratios over 30% in the first 6 months of the platform launch.
  • Managed the Infra single-handedly on AWS and scaled the read traffic to 10x and writes to 3x during seasonal sales.
  • Automated inventory management between offline and online stores and reduced the bottleneck of back and forth communication, which added to employee productivity by 120%.
